Bluegrass, folk, and acoustic country
Robin & Linda Williams have crisscrossed the continent for over thirty years performing a hearty blend of bluegrass, folk and acoustic country. From The Grand Old Opry to Austin City Limits to countless other venues, they wow audiences wherever they go.
They are first-class singers, instrumentalists, and songwriters, able to, as The Washington Post says, “sum up a life in a few details with moving completeness.” With over over twenty albums of their own, their compositions have also been recorded by Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Tom T. Hall, Kathy Mattea, and others..
Their longstanding association with Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” has landed them on stages from Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl and they were prominently featured in the 2006 movie of the same name directed by filmmaker Robert Altman.
Robin and Linda Williams are joined on tour by Their Fine Group — Jim Watson on bass and harmony vocals, and Chris Brashear on fiddle, mandolin and harmony vocals.
